WHATS GOING ON WITH DC’s CINEMATIC UNIVERSE?

DC comics, is a well known American comic book publisher with a number of iconic superheroes like Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman . In 2010, it was reported that Zack Snyder was chosen by Warner Bros Studios and Legendary Pictures, to helm [direct] the next solo superman film, titled Man of Steel.
Three years later the movie was finally released in June of 2013 and the reviews were a “Mixed Bag”. After receiving some what of a lukewarm response from moviegoers, the fate of the DCEU was momentarily undecided, thats is , until the announcement of a follow up film titled Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.
BvS: Dawn of Justice catapulted the entire DC universe into a Justice league film, but unfortunately, BvS underperformed tremendously at the box office and was considered (by some) to be one of the worst comic book adaptations of all time. Due to the untimely death of his daughter, Snyder had to step down as director of the Justice League movie and Joss Whedon was chosen by the studio as his replacement.
Joss’s Justice League film (deemed the Josstice League), was torn to pieces by critics. Meanwhile, other films being made under the DC umbrella like Wonder Woman(2017), Aquaman (2018), and Shazaam (2019) were all well received by audiences. After the justice league debacle…
